No woodworking experience required.

Learn. You’ll learn the safe use of the table saw, how to cut precision angles using a specialty jig, and how to glue up your frame. Students will use a second jig to make corner cuts on the table saw to support a spline. Time will allow for sanding and finishing.

Make. Make a custom-sized maple wood frame, suitable for framing a print (i.e. of paper thickness, not a thicker canvas). Materials will be available to allow for frame sizes up to 18″ maximum on any side. Glass is not included. Participants may wish to bring in artwork for measurement purposes only.

Saturday, November 9 | 10am-3pm

What to Bring: Participants may wish to bring in artwork for measurement purposes only. Artwork should be of paper thickness, i.e. a print and not a thicker canvas.
