  No Comity Tonight

  World too polarized now to have both party’s supporters gather around the screen to root for their candidate. Honestly, the hype adds to stored up violence in and around this event, makes it feel more a high profile cock fight than airing of viewpoints.

  I liked the lack of audience and the strict mic cut-offs, but other than the format – wow – what a train wreck otherwise.

    Too many horrid moments in that debate. Biden was moribund, but for me the worst was Trump’s absolute denial of Climate Change, and the moderators taking his evasion and misdirection as simply a characteristic skip and dodge.
