Minutes of April 27, 2022
Meeting via Zoom
Members Present: Kelly Young, Anne Beekman, Kerry Amidon, Shaun Murphy, Liz Adams
Also Present: Virginia Ray, Mindy Haskins Rogers, Gary Stroud
CALL TO ORDER:
6:00 PM – Kelly Young
After a brief discussion it was decided to confirm committee roles under other business.
On a motion by Anne Beekman and seconded by Liz Adams, the committee approved the minutes of August 19, 2021.
Kelly reviewed the 1% fund requests (email of the documents to follow shortly to all Committee members) and the following decisions were made:
Academy School – HOLD – The Committee has questions on the use of 1% funds for materials and would like to have additional information.
BAMS – APPROVED
Green Street – HOLD – The Committee has questions on the location of the conference.
Oak Grove – APPROVED
Dummerston – HOLD – The Committee has questions on the use of 1% funds for non- certified staff.
OTHER BUSINESS
On a motion by Shaun Murphy and seconded by Liz Adams, Anne Beekman was elected chair.
On a motion by Shaun Murphy and seconded by Kelly Young, Liz Adams was elected vice
chair.
On a motion by Shaun Murphy and seconded by Liz Adams, Kerry Amidon was elected clerk.
The public was invited to ask any questions.
Anne will set up another meeting (hopefully next week) so that the Committee can re-review the 1% applications, have questions answered and make final decisions.
The committee adjourned at 6:38 PM on a motion by Liz Adams and seconded by Kelly Young.
