Brattleboro Citizens’ Breakfast – Networking for Sustainable Energy
The next “Brattleboro Citizens’ Breakfast” will take place on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Gibson Aiken Center, downstairs, hosted by Senior Meals. Doors open at 7:30am.
Jonathan Morse will hold a conversation on the Sustainable Energy Outreach Network (SEON) ~ it’s purpose, past programs, and plans for the future. SEON is a “networking organization, passionately committed to the promotion of sustainable energy for the benefit of the public, businesses, educational institutions, and public sector organizations.
We accomplish our mission in a very unique way…we bring people together to inform/educate, form relationships and partnerships, support initiatives for sustainable energy, and be a forum for innovation. This is a very different approach to economic development, and at the same time complements the activities of our regions’ other economic development authorities.” cf: SEON’s website http://www.seon.info/

=> The breakfast, provided by Senior Meals will feature your choice of Whole Wheat Pancakes, Syrup, Sausage, Home Fries, Fruit, Juice, Coffee. Cost is $6.00 for those under 60 years of age. ($3.50 is the suggested donation for those over 60 years.)

Request for Projects to be included in the Windham Region CEDS
Submission Deadline is August 9th, 2013
A call for submission of project proposals to be included in the federally recognized Comprehensive Economic
Development Strategy (CEDS) for the 27 town Windham region. Official request appears below. While no monetary awards will directly result from these projects being included in the CEDS, inclusion of your municipal, education, private sector or non-profit project in the CEDS indicates it is aligned with regional goals for growth.
