F40 School Enrollment
Each student enrolled in the grades for which the District operates multiple school buildings will attend the school in the student’s town of residence; provided however, that the School Board may grant a parent’s or guardian’s request for student enrollment in a different school operated by the District, based on the Superintendent’s recommendation, determined by individual student circumstances and evaluation of the school’s capacity to serve the child.

WSESD AMENDMENT AND POLICY

Convened at 4:32 PM
1. Minutes for March 24, 2021 approved.
2. E-13 Security Badge Procedures – recommended updated. Approved to pass to the full board for ratification.
3. C- 6 Board-Superintendent Relationship. Approved after clarifying the paragraph regarding the SU responsibility for evaluating the Superintendent. Approved 3-1.
4. Ongoing Commitment Policies – Considered developing policies stemming from the specific commitments in the previously adopted “Ongoing Social Justice and Anti-racist Commitment.”
David will develop drafts and look into existing Policies for related topics.
5. Other Business – Do we need a policy around protecting students affected by restraining orders? Andy will follow up with Pietro.
