Below is information that might be helpful to know for November 19th special elections.
Attached is a sample ballot for all four towns – Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford and Putney. All towns’ ballots are the same. Absentee ballots are currently available at the Town Clerk’s Office and may be requested until 5:00 pm on Monday, November 18th. Sample ballots can also be found on our website at www.brattleboro.org under Elections.
The polling place in Brattleboro is the Municipal Center, 230 Main Street, Suite 105. Polling hours are 10:00am to 7:00pm. Early voting is taking place in the Town Clerk’s office until 5pm on Monday, November 18th.
There are a few parking spots in center area of the municipal center parking lot that will be reserved for voters on election day.
Election information is posted on www.brattleboro.org
Election results will be reported from the central office of the school district within a few days of the election. Unofficial results will not be announced by the Town Clerks that evening.
Vermont has same day voter registration, however to save time on Election Day it is advisable to register in advance to vote by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office or online athttps://olvr.sec.state.vt.us/ .
