Ain’t I Lucky?

Since yesterday (Friday the 24th), I have received no fewer than 9 phone calls from the Past POTUS.

(I’m not kidding)

He has yet to hang around long enough for me to find out what he wants.

Does anybody know?

    Mystery Solved

    I finally listened to him long enough to find out what he wants(he keeps calling):
    1. He’s opposing Trump’s failed health care bill.
    2. He wants a donation (Why am I not surprised).

      I think he’s not be honest about his financial situation. New book deal netted the family millions and they have a nice home in Kalorama, DC.

      Oh, he wants you to donate to a cause? Not him? Ahhh…

      I want universal medical care, not a universal obligation to buy a product from an Insurance agency. There’s a big difference between providing access to insurance, and to providing access to treatment, in my view. Neither Democrats nor GOP seem to want to give anyone actual medical attention, It seems “good enough” just to claim people have insurance.

      I got some of these calls,

      I got some of these calls, too. But, mine came before we knew that the weasel’s health care bill would be rejected so it was a plea to make calls to elected officials to state opposition. I didn’t mind the calls. Much better than the ridiculous and biased ” survey” the Trump cabal sent out awhile back or the emails from them asking for examples of ObamaCare disasters. I had none. I am alive and not in a wheelchair or worse thanks to the ACA. That would not have been the case if the Trump disaster had passed. I would spend hours listening to auto calls from any of the Obamas before I would want to spend one minute listening to the ignorant and hateful rhetoric that comes out every time Trump opens his mouth.

      Oh, it’s all good. It’s just Americans being Americans. The pendulum will swing, as pendulums do.

        Yes

        But there’s gonna be a lot of damage done before the pendulum swings back.
        Just this morning, Trump announced what amounts to an all out attack on the climate.
