During Thanksgiving Weekend 2016
Although President-elect Donald Trump has castigated the administration of President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the US regime change wars that have brought death and destruction to the Middle East, these genocidal prosecutable crimes against humanity continue even as Americans gave thanks for their own well being as usual in utter disregard or ignorance of what was being done in their name to millions of innocent children, women and men.
For the criminal lies and half truths in CIA fed corporate media a majority of ordinary Americans, often symbolized as Mr. and Mrs. America, have always celebrated their Thanksgiving assuming that the rest of the world is grateful for all America’s humanitarian military invasions and bombings of bad guys. Reality is something else.
Families in Afghanistan were not giving thanks that Americans leading a coalition of every single nation of Caucasian population, even tiny Lichtenstein, Andorra, Monaco, continue a murderous sixteen year occupation of their beloved country to support the drug lord government it installed at gun point, which among other crimes has brought the production of opium poppies to a record high, while their previous Taliban government had all but eliminated poppy cultivation before the American 2001 invasion.[1]
Families in Iraq were not giving thanks that Americans continue to bomb their beloved country, presently under the pretense of attacking terrorist Islamic groups the US itself created to destroy its Shiite government and the government of neighboring Syria. Horrific memories of a prosecutable genocidal conquering of their entire innocent nation, bringing death to at least one and one half million of their country’s children, women and men by Americans claiming to help by eliminating the president of their oil rich land.[2]
Families that have managed to stay together in an utterly destroyed Libya, which by the UN Quality of Life Index of the year before its destruction, was not only the highest ranked in Africa, but higher than nine countries in Europe including Russia, were not giving thanks that American bombing along with bombing by Libya’s former bloody colonial rulers, the British and the French, had brought about the assassination of their beloved revolutionary leader who had brought Libya up from the poorest nation in Africa with the oil profits he had confiscated from those same British and French colonial thieves, who upon the falsification of a popular uprising, annihilated Libya.
Those few families in vastly destroyed Syria that have been able to continue to live in their homes, are unable to be thankful for the genocidal efforts of Americans, with allies Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, EU and even the US controlled United Nations sponsoring armed terrorist efforts to overthrow their Syrian government causing millions of their countrymen to flee to Europe with their families – leaving behind a half million murdered Syrians.[4]
Families in Yemen cannot be thankful that Americans for years striking from the air, have had their ally Saudi Arabia bombing them killing a thousand of their brothers and sisters desperately trying to protect the lives of their children, hundreds of whom have already perished, other hundreds cruelly maimed; for many years the US drone struck Yemeni at will.[5]
Families in what is left of Somalia after nearly two decades of starvation caused by US and NATO air strikes in support of proxy armies of allies Ethiopia, Kenya, the United Nations all to protect a hated government of warlords acceptable to powerful investors on Wall Street, could not possible be thankful to Americans for overthrowing their wonderful Islamic Courts government and continuing to bring death and maiming to their country.[6]
Families in South Sudan suffering in an unbelievably savage, regularly horrific and genocidal civil war, where mass murder has greatly reduced the population, cannot not be thankful to Americans for continuous investing in deathly military havoc since oil was discovered in the 1970s.[7]

Families in Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Congo, Guatemala, El Salvador, Haiti, Panama, Dominican Republic and families in every other country in Latin America whose governments were overthrown either by invasion or otherwise were never thankful for the total of tens of millions of deaths, of millions maimed, of malformed babies, destruction and theft of their countries’ natural resources. In the US, Thanksgiving will have deeper meaning when the five centuries of European and then American investment bank plundering of Asia, Africa and the Americas at mega enormous cost of life will have ended. Americans, will welcome the feeling of being part of humanity, instead of being tasked with feeling superior and needing to fear certain nations as threatening.
