Gubernatorial Candidate Meet, Greet & Lunch
Where: Senior Meals – Gibson-Aiken Center – 207 Main St., Brattleboro, VT 05301
When: Friday, July 22, 2016 at 12 Noon
Who: Sue Minter, Vermont’s former Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Transportation, Irene Recovery Officer, and State Representative, is seeking the Democratic nomination for Governor in the upcoming August 9 primary election.
Q&A:
Will there be lunch?
Yes, lunch will be available for $6.00 for anyone under 60 years of age and for a suggested donation of $3.50 for anyone over 60.
Do I need to r.s.v.p.?
Yes, please! It would be very helpful to know how many to expect for lunch. Please let me know via email Robt.Oeser@gmail.com or cell phone (text or voice) 518-505-9031 by no later than Monday, July 18. But note that I will not be sharing your email address with the candidate(s). (I have advised the two other top Democratic candidates’ campaigns of this event, but have not received any confirmations as of this writing.)
UPDATE!
Today, I was advised that Peter Galbraith, former U.S. diplomat and former Vermont Senator who is seeking the Democratic nomination for Governori will be able to attend this lunch.
(Please continue to “rsvp” as soon as you can . . )
Collect the complete set!
Great that Galbraith has joined Minter to talk to interested voters in Brattleboro. The more the merrier, they say, and also just better to hear from everyone.
Am I correct in assuming other lunches in coming weeks might feature other candidates, or is this the one and candidates should either be there or be left out?
More Meeting & Greeting?
Sue Minter’s campaign made the initial contact and we decided to at least suggest three possible dates that would work to the three top D candidates, with the result that I have received these responses so far.
If there is interest in organizing and available dates, I would not be opposed to exploring another event.
