Keene, NH— The hot dog days of summer are here and Savings Bank of Walpole is ready to celebrate by hosting two separate Community Appreciation Cookouts as a way to say thank you to both its customers and the community. This is the 10th year the Bank has hosted the cookouts and this year’s events will be held on Friday, July 22nd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bank’s 84 Marlboro Street location as well as on Sunday, July 24th beginning at 5:00 p.m. on the Green in Walpole.
In addition to free hotdogs, chips and cookies, the event on July 22nd will feature a live, two-hour radio broadcast by WKNE-FM. The July 24th cookout in Walpole will be followed by an evening of music featuring The Temple Band, one of the Banks’ Concerts on the Green Series performances. The show will begin at 6:30 p.m. and run until 8:00 p.m.
