The Southbound lane of I-91 between Exits 3 and 2 and the Exit 3 on-ramps will be closed to all vehicles on Sunday, July 12 from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM to make it possible to conduct a routine bridge inspection. This time period was selected because it is the period of lowest traffic volume during the daylight hours needed to conduct the inspection.
Southbound traffic will be routed to Exit 1, and Northbound traffic attempting to use the Exit 3 on ramp will be routed north on Route 5 to Exit 4. Officers will be on hand to control traffic.
I-91 Northbound will remain open.
The State and its contractors will take a number of steps to alert the traveling public, including signs on the interstate, notifications on our 511 travel advisory system, a project website (www.i91brattleborobridge.comc), coordination with New Hampshire DOT, and e-mail and text notifications to stakeholders.
If you would like more information about the bridge replacement project, or would like to receive e-mail or text notices of future travel restrictions associated with this project, please visit the project website (http://www.i91brattleborobridge.com), or contact Public Relations Officer Cindy Cook at ccook@adamantaccord.com or (802) 272-2829.
