Any Further Info on Vernon Leaving the Act 46 Committee?

Saw an online headline a moment ago that Vernon is leaving the Act 46 Study Committee -- significant development for those of us interested in this Act 46 business.  Only way to find out more appears to be to subscribe to the Reformer....

We've just posted the draft minutes of the meeting and YES, the answer to your question is that Vernon voted to drop out of the regional district and go their own way.

It's now on Vt Digger which has a complete story. Vernon has been unhappy with this right along. Wish we could get the other 4 towns to drop out too: Might send a message to the legislature & others Up North that we are capable of running our schools just fine here on the Local Level. All they really need to do is send us the $.
