Looks cool...

One can do some pretty amazing things with a million dollars. That looks like a fun place to explore even without a skateboard.

Great location to catch shadows and watch waves.

So the current hold is because we are waiting for the Legislature to get back in session to amend our Act 250 permit for Living Memorial Park? Once that is done, it's just a matter of raising funds and building it?

Might be good for BASIC to plan to present the latest and greatest plans publicly somehow in the next few months, and to clearly articulate the budget needs and proposed schedule. Donors like that sort of thing.


Claremont Skatepark

I happened to drive by a skatepark in Claremont, NH last week...it looked nice, it looked clean, and at that moment was well-populated with teens and pre-teens.


Heart Medicine

It seems from the video that the park was largely publicly funded. And seeing Shumlin, Dean, Leahy, and all those celebrities at the soft opening makes it look like skating is a big deal in Vermont. Bet it would be something special to be living in that state.
