Is Anyone Collecting Winter Coats in Brattleboro This Year?

In years past, you could donate winter coats at Mason Lodge or Drop In Center.

Is this happening again?

Unfortunately I can't remember exactly where you can drop off donations, but if you were to call the Drop In Center Monday I would bet they could tell you. I'm pretty sure they and the Masonic Lodge are again collecting, but not positive. Also several churches in the area. I just saw the article the other day. It's not showing up in a web search, though. If you do find out, please post, as I meant to note it myself so I can donate some no longer used coats. Thanks for asking this important question!

According to the Reformer Editorial this morning, the following locations are accepting coats and other related items: Guilford Community Church; Centre Congregational Church; First Baptist Church; St. Michael’s Episcopal Church; and the Putney Friends Meeting. My guess is one should call to find out details such as when one may stop by with contributions.
