Golden Eagle Spotted Over Brattleboro


12:30p.m. immature Golden Eagle spotted making wide unflapping circles from Conn. River to over Elliot Street. New yard bird!

If you had wings

Wouldn't it be nice to have wings like that? I'd be out flapping them on a nice day, too, if I were so lucky.

About this time last year, one of these flew across RT 142 in Vernon just in front of my car. Almost immediately 2 of them flew back across the road.
I spoke to somebody in VT Fish & Wildlife, and was told there were no golden eagles in VT.
I think he was wrong.

Any sightings of golden eagles on the Ct. River NH/VT? 3/16/2016

I did not get a picture, but I've been taking my daughter to Putney landing a lot to view Eagles. On sunday 3/6/16 we were lucky enough to see a golden eagle! Beautiful! It was a nice sighting!
