InnerWell Integrative Counseling Services Welcomes Body-Mind Psychotherapist from Boulder

InnerWell is delighted to welcome Heather Kuhn, MA, RSMT, R-DMT, to join InnerWell Integrative Counseling Services in Brattleboro. A warm and skillful body-mind psychotherapist, Heather holds a Master of Arts in Somatic Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. She is relocating here from Boulder, Colorado, and begins seeing clients at InnerWell this month. Specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions and relationship issues. With the addition of Heather, InnerWell is again welcoming new clients for adult individual psychotherapy and counseling.

Heather has a particular passion for working with adults who have lost touch with their sense of self, purpose, and vitality, whether as a result of a traumatic childhood, a recent or distant loss, addiction, or a scary diagnosis. She is guided by an understanding that — with warm and consistent therapeutic attention and a little bit of courage — change, growth, and healing are not only possible but inevitable.

Before joining InnerWell, Heather had an integrative psychotherapy practice at a leading counseling center in Denver. She has also enjoyed facilitating movement groups focused on empowerment in community, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) groups focused on helping people learn to
more effectively handle strong emotions and to connect with others in meaningful and healthy ways. As someone who embraces difference, Heather is committed to social justice in her therapeutic work and in the world.

The addition of Heather Kuhn is part of InnerWell’s commitment to meeting the increasing demand for high quality counseling and psychotherapy that is in sync with a truly integrative model of wellness. InnerWell has also just opened registration for its fall Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course (www.innerwell.org/MBSR). Daytime and evening therapy appointments are now available, and many insurances are accepted. Visit www.InnerWell.org or call 802-231-2550 for more information or to schedule an appointment today.

InnerWell Integrative Counseling Services, located in Brattleboro, Vermont, serves clients from around the region with leading-edge, mindfulness-based, neurobiologically-informed adult psychotherapy, couples counseling and wellness programs.
