Lack of justice...

And the reason I'm very disappointed in Senator Leahy's leadership of the Senate Judiciary Committee is that so few public officials have been held to account for misleading statements and outright lies to the US Congress.

The National Security Archives gave out some fitting awards recently:


Wasn't a baseball player in the news for making false statements to Congress a while back? Compare the stakes of that case to what's discussed in the above release. Is it any wonder people have lost respect for our public officials?

Good resource

I saw this last year sometime. The list has really grown since then.

A bit depressing how many are dismissed. I suppose once they release documents about spying on judges, things might change. : )
