WVEW Fundraiser Concert - Greenhill Builders, John Levin, and Wooden Dinosaur

Brattleboro Community Radio WVEW 107.7FM will be hosting a fundraising concert on Thursday, June 1 at 7pm. The concert will feature three local acts – Greenhill Builders, John Levin, and Wooden Dinosaur. There is a $7 charge at the door and the event will take place at 118 Elliott. All proceeds benefit Brattleboro Community Radio. Please come out to hear some great music and to support this local, independent, volunteer-run organization.

L&G Players present Dracula

Community Contra Dance at Pierce's Hall in East Putney

Community contra dance at Pierce’s Hall, called by Steve Howland. All ages and skill levels are welcome, and all dances are taught. No partner or experience necessary. Live music will be provided by Amy Cann, Laurie Indenbaum, Carol Compton, and the All Comers Band.

The evening begins with a beginners’ session from 7:30 to 8:00, followed by dancing until about 10:30. The suggested donation is $10. To reach Pierce’s Hall in East Putney, go north from Putney Village for 2 miles on Rt. 5. Turn right onto East Putney Falls Road and go 1/2 mile until you come to the driveway to the hall on the left. VFW Installation of Officers
