Neighbors Hall Yoga

Date & Time:
Feb 10 2018 - 9:00am - 10:30am

Try out this gentle yoga class for anyone with any previous yoga experience. Mats and props are available. Pay by donation, with suggested donation of $10; but pay what you can while giving yourself the enormous benefits of yoga.
Teta Hilsdon teaches gentle seated warm-ups, standing warm ups, a balance pose, core work, a short vinyasa (series of strengthening poses), a very gentle inversion, and final Savasana (resting meditation). You'll get plenty of encouragement and modeling for using props and doing poses safely and comfortably for your own body. No one needs to hurt to get the benefits of yoga. While working on poses we practice awareness of how far our own bodies wish to go.
Neighbors Hall Yoga occurs on 2nd Saturdays each month. Neighbors Hall is behind the Neighborhood Schoolhouse, and is also the home of Vermont Insight Meditation.
Teta Hilsdon has 500 hours of training in Hits the Spot Yoga®, and 1000 hours of teaching experience. For more information, visit www.yogateta.com.
