Evangelina Holvino will discuss how white people can’t tolerate even a minimum amount of racial stress. Talking about race/ism triggers a range of defensive moves such as anger, fear, guilt, arguing or withdrawing. These responses prevent dialogue and maintain racial inequality. How do we see this in our private and public life and what can we do about it?
