Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival

The 2017 season of Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival week one will include flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, string quartet and harp playing selections such as Espana Capricho Catalan by Albeniz, Fantasy Pieces by Nielsen, Bachianas Brasileiras by Villa Lobos, a WORLD PREMIERE by Lincoln-Decusatis, and Viola Quintet by Brahms. The second week of the festival will offer Garden of Adonis by Hovhaness, String Trio by Schubert, Seagull and the Star by Hallman (featuring Poet Laureate Sydney Lea and Cartoonist Laureate James Kochalka), Dances sacree et profane by Debussy and Quintet by Francaix. New to the festival this year will be a Baroque Trio playing all French and German Baroque Chamber Music. The festival will also include visual art by artists Natasha Loewy and Andrew Brehm.
