Vibrant Ensemble at Superfresh Cafe

Date & Time:
Jun 10 2017 - 8:00pm - 10:00pm

Superfresh Cafe on Main Street in Brattleboro is once again pleased to present VIBRANT ENSEMBLE on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 8-10 pm. This ensemble is comprised of Percussionist & Gong Specialist Stephan Brandstatter along with multi-instrumentalist & ethnomusicologist Dennis Waring. Performances are comprised of original innovative compositions played on a wide assortment of instruments. The mood is calming, ethereally soothing and yet upbeat as well. Dennis plays saxophones, clarinet and a variety of flutes and ocarinas. Stephan plays an array of gongs, chimes, Tibetan bowls, bells, djembe, frame drum, dumbek and more. Based on multicultural world music inspirations, VIBRANT ENSEMBLE’s music and soundscapes evoke the sounds of nature, the exoticism of the East and the pulsations of Africa and Latin America. Treat yourself to something unique and special. They will be introducing new material and featuring some from their forthcoming cd. There is no cover. STOP IN AND BE REJUVENATED!
