The Joe Belmont Experience in Greenfield

Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center is proud to present The Joe Belmont Experience with special guest Ed Mari, in concert on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 6:30 p.m (doors open at 6 p.m.). The concert will be held at Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center, 289 Main St., Greenfield, MA. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at http://hawksandreed.com.

The Joe Belmont Experience is comprised of accomplished veterans of the Northeast music scene Joe Belmont, Joe Whalen, and Keith Levreault.

Joe Belmont directs the Jazz Ensembles at Northampton Community Music Center. He plays guitar, writes and arranges music for the band Viva Quetzal. He also has two solo albums. Joe has taught jazz guitar at Amherst College since 1990.

Joe Whalen is a bassist and has appeared across the country. He has performed with the “Stars in Concert” music series, and was musical director for comedian Bob Newhart.

Keith Levreault has been playing drums professionally for over 35 years. Keith has played with many artists including Valley favorites The Lonesome Brothers, Blood Oranges, and Kevin Salem.

Ed Mari plays saxophone and clarinet, and studied at the New England Conservatory of Music and the Springfield Institute of Music. He has been performing since the age of 13 with such varied groups as wind ensembles, big bands, small groups in theaters, in concerts and at jazz festivals.
