Brooks Memorial Library's All-Day Birthday party!

Come celebrate the 50th birthday of the Brooks Memorial Library building on Saturday, Sept. 23rd.

Kids' celebration, 10:00-noon

10:30 Seriously funny guy Kevin O'Keefe will present his one man show, followed by birthday cake.

Make a birthday card for our building.

Afternoon festivities in the Main Reading Room, 1:00-6:00

1:00 Music with Sharon Leslie and Dan Kasnitz

2:00 Opening remarks by Peter and Corky Elwell and an overview of library history with Jerry Carbone

3:00  Presentation by Amy Dickinson, panelist on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me and syndicated columnist, Ask Amy.
Thanks to the Friends of Brooks Memorial Library and Everyone's Books,
the first fifty families will receive a complimentary copy of her new
book, Strangers Tend to Tell Me Things.

4:00 Music, dancing and refreshments.
