Carol Makes Tamales

Date & Time:
Mar 18 2017 - 11:00am - 1:00pm

Carol Flores has been making her family tamale recipe since she was a child. The women in her family would come together on special occasions to flavor, shape and cook herb-filled corn dough wrapped around a delicious center. In this class, she will share her family recipe and show how to make these family treasures (both vegetarian and chicken based). You will taste one of Carol's tamales and then make your own with the instruction and ingredients provided.
