Poetry Readings by Terry Hauptmann, Becky D. Sakellariou and Toni Ortner

Please join us as we celebrate Nation Poetry Month an evening of poetry readings by 3 of our local poets!

Terry Hauptman, nationally known poet and the painter of the luminous
song line scrolls exhibited nationally will read from her third
published book The Indwelling of Dissonance, published by North Star
Press of St. Cloud Inc. in Minnesota. Terry’s writing has received rave
reviews from Rosanna Warren and Joy Harjo. Her first book published by
the same press was Hearing Thunder. Her writing is enriched by jazz,
painting, and the language of other cultures.

D.Sakellariou, author of among other collections Earth Listening,
published by Hobblebush Books, will be reading from her new book No
Foothold in this Geography just out from
Blue Light Press. Becky lives in Peterborough, NH, and spends part of
each year in Greece where she has been working with the refugees.

Toni Ortner has had 2l books published & will read from her two
most recent Traveling a Perspective by Kelsey Books and A White Page
Demands Its Letters by Mayapple Press. These two books are a sequel
whose theme is the effects of divorce; loss of love, end of family, and
poverty. The book applauds how women use stamina Please and courage to
survive. Toni hosts Write Action Radio Hour on l07.7 FM where she
interviews writers and they read their work.
