The spring session of the Brattleboro Women’s Chorus begins on March 6 with an Open Sing from 7:00 to 8:30 at All Souls Church as an opportunity to join or to try out the chorus without obligation. All women are invited, including girls age 10 and up with their mothers or other adult female companions.
The chorus will then continue to meet every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at All Souls Church. The musical theme of pilgrimage will continue from the fall session, along with songs of springtime. The session will culminate in two concerts on Mothers’ Day weekend accompanied by the local group Kestrel, with one concert in Grafton and one in Brattleboro.
There are no auditions and music can be learned without knowing how to read written music. Financial aid is available, as well as price breaks for mothers and daughters (or other family combinations) and for students age 15-25. For more information or to register, view www.BrattleboroWomensChorus.org or call Becky Graber at 254-8994.
